The Willamette Valley is world famous for producing award winning Pinot noir wines. It’s all due to the soils laid down by ancient submarine volcanics and sea sediment mixed with our moderate climate, makes the Northern Willamette Valley region ideal for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Grapes. We will spend the day visiting a few local wineries of the Dundee Hills AVA, tasting some world-class wines, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Willamette Valley and the snow-capped mountains of the Cascades.
To fulfill your wine tasting experience, we will select 3 wine tasting rooms based on your group size and the tasting rooms availability.

THE WINERIES
DURANT VINEYARD WINERY AND RED RIDGE OLIVE OIL TASTING
Take in an amazing view of the Cascade Mountains while enjoying a flight of full-bodied wines at the Durant Vineyards wine tasting room. Then stroll over to their Oregon Olive Mill tasting room and gift shop and enjoy tasting an assortment of fine olive oils and vinegars.
WINTER’S HILL ESTATES WINERY
Winter’s Hill Vineyard is an Estate winery located in the Dundee Hills. Thirty-five acres of vineyards are nestled into a 150 acre farm including fir and oak forests. Farming this land has been a privilege, and they have followed sustainable farming practices. They have been certified by LIVE and SalmonSafe in recognition of their efforts. The first wines bearing their name were 298 cases of 1998 Pinot Noir. Their production has grown slowly and steadily as wine lovers in the Northwest and around the country have discovered their Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and dessert wines such as Golden Nectar.
STOLLER ESTATE VINEYARDS
Stoller winery’s LEED Gold and LIVE certified winery combines progressive, environmentally-friendly design with gentle, traditional winemaking practices that minimize their environmental impact, making them one of the premiere sustainable wineries in the Pacific Northwest, and the first LEED Gold Certified winery in the world.
All of their wine is made exclusively from their estate vineyard. They pick, process, ferment and age each individual section of fruit separately before blending. Their gravity flow technology offers a gentler approach to transferring the wine from tank to barrel, as well as greatly reducing the amount of energy required for wine production.
Their winery produces wines that are elegant, showing ripe red to darker fruits as well as earthy qualities. Their grape varieties, age of the vine, location, and density bring an amazing diversity of flavors to their wines. They are beautifully textured and layered with fine, silky tannins. Vintage can change the expression of their wines, but never overpower their character
SOKOL BLOSSER WINERY
“Pinot Noir grape is one temperamental fruit.” For Pinot Noir to become a world-class wine there must be a level of care and commitment that goes beyond that of any other varietal. At Sokol Blosser, that includes carefully hand harvesting, fermentation in small lots and aging 16 months in French oak barrels. They hand sort through every grape before it goes into a fermenter - for Pinot Noir, the grapes are de-stemmed without crushing, to preserve as many whole berries as possible. For white varietals, the grapes are whole-cluster pressed.
DOMAINE SERENE
Enjoy the elegance of the French inspired tasting room of Domaine Serene. Relax and enjoy a flight of their exceptional wines. Domaine Serene produces wines from 6 individual vineyard estates to produce some wonderful complete Pinot Noirs and Chardonnay. You won't be disappointed.
DOMAINE DROUHIN
Domaine Drouhin Oregon crafts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay cuvées that favor balance, elegance and finesse, hallmarks of the Drouhin family’s 130+ years of experience in Burgundy. For nearly 30 years, the Drouhin Family has brought a wealth of hard-earned experience to their vineyards in the Dundee Hills.
