Oregon’s rugged coastline conjures images straight out of a Gothic romance. We will enjoy a few premiere coastal locations, take in the fresh salt air, experience the beautiful scenery, and walk through ancient forests. We will take some time to visit one of Oregon’s best known coastal towns, Cannon Beach, famous for its art galleries and shops.
Before traveling back to Portland, we will make one last stop at the Blue Heron Cheese Factory in Tillamook, and sample their many different types of Brie along with a little wine tasting.

Cannon Beach, one of Oregon’s most charming coastal towns, is famous for its art galleries and shops. We will stop for lunch and some exploring. Buy some saltwater taffy, a kite, or perhaps a piece of art that you just can’t resist.
OSWALD WEST STATE PARK
Oswald West State Park is one of Oregon’s true gems. Take a short hike through a dense old-growth forest to Short Sands. This beach is in a beautiful cove nestled between two looming mountains; a waterfall cascades onto the sand from a nearby mountain stream. This is truly one of the most beautiful spots on the Oregon Coast.
TILLAMOOK’S BLUE HERON CHEESE FACTORY
The last stop of the day will be the Blue Heron Cheese Factory, a boutique cheese shop. They offer tastings of an assortment of fine Brie cheeses, local wines and jams. This stop is a nice way to finish a visit to the Oregon Coast.
